NGC 3344

NGC 3344 is a spiral galaxy of type Sc, in the constellation Leo Little and is located about 25 million light -years away from Earth. NGC 3344 has an angular extent of 7.2 × 6.9 arcmin and an apparent brightness of 9.7 mag. The galaxy was discovered on April 6, 1785 by the German - British astronomer William Herschel.
