Nicholas Hooper

Nicholas Hooper is a British film composer.

He wrote and produced music for over 25 films (eg, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, The Girl in the Café), TV documentaries (eg several episodes of the series Nature, The Future is wild) and spectacles.

Work on Harry Potter

After John Williams wrote the score for the first three Harry Potter films, Patrick Doyle took over the work on the fourth. For the fifth and sixth Harry Potter strips Nicholas Hooper composed the music then. This was due to director David Yates, who has worked on countless occasions with the composer. Hooper chose his own style of music. Even the famous " Hedwig 's Theme " by John Williams, he interpreted differently, with Doyle also found an own interpretation of this piece.
