Nicolae Negrilă

Nicolae Negrilă ( born July 23, 1954 in Gighera, Dolj county ) is a former Romanian football player and football coach.

Playing career

Negrilă came Universitatea Craiova in 1969. After five years in the youth team he made his debut in 1974 in the first team in the championship game against Petrolul Ploieşti. He remained loyal to this club in 1988 and twice won the Romanian Championship and the Romanian Cup four times. This period also saw the convening of the Romanian national team for Euro 1984 in France fell. Negrilă has been deployed, Romania difference in the group stage. He joined another 27 times for Romania for use and scoring one goal. He made his debut in 1980 against Yugoslavia.

After 14 years in Craiova, he moved in 1988 to Jiul Petrosani, where he still finish two years of his career.

Coaching career

After playing career, he spent a year as coach of his tribe Universitatea Craiova clubs from 1990 to 1991. Afterwards he trained only second to third-class Romanian clubs like Constructorul Craiova, Craiova Extensive, Gilortul Târgu Carbunesti, Electro Craiova and Senaco Novaci. In February 2006, he became assistant to Nicolae Ungureanu at FC Caracal and succeeded him after his departure on 17 April 2006 for the first division Pandurii Târgu Jiu until the end of the season as head coach from.
