Nigel Barker (athlete)

Nigel Chase Barker (born 26 February 1883 in Petersham, New South Wales, † July 31, 1948 in Sydney, Australia) was an Australian athlete who was successful at the beginning of the 20th century in the sprint. He was twice y consecutive national champion over 100 y, three consecutive national champion over 220 and four consecutive national champion over 440 y, where he was twice consecutively win all three sprint distances the championship:

In the long jump he went to the start. Here he was in 1905 with 6.47 m CHAMPIONS and 1908 with 6.15 m second.

He participated in the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens, winning two bronze medals:
