Night Beat (album)

Night Beat is an album by Sam Cooke. It was first published in August 1963 by the RCA label LP. Stylistically, the album is attributed to the soul, but it can also be heard echoes of the R & B.

Night Beat was recorded in three nights in February 1963 in the studios of RCA in Los Angeles. The following musicians were involved in the recording:

The album was produced by Hugo Peretti and Luigi Creatore ( Hugo & Luigi ), sound engineer was Dave Hassinger.

In the music database Allmusic Nightbeat is performed with five out of five stars. In the local review states that the album was a good choice, " to admire one of the two or three best voices of the century".
