Comments

First series creator Reinhold Weege developed the concept that a judge should be the focus, with an interest in magic and the Mel Tormé loves. Ironically, was occupied by Harry Anderson man for the role, which was professional magician and Mel Tormé loves.

In the first year, the team had to cope with a large fluctuation. The role of the public defender was occupied four times. Markie Post, who then held the role until the end, was at the beginning of the first choice, but did not come out of her contract with the Serie A Fall Guy out. The cast of the first two court servants, Selma Diamond and Florence Halop died in real life. Also on the position of the court secretary there was a change, as Karen Austin strove for a film career. So it was that of the original cast only Harry Anderson, John Larroquette and Richard Moll were always there.

Attorney Dan Fielding wears, how one learns more than once, actually a different name. Not Dan, but Reinhold is his birth name. Here, the authors allowed a little joke and played with it on the creator of the series, Reinhold Weege.

In the American television series 30 Rock, an alternate ending to the original actors was in Season 3, Episode 3, produced, where it should come to the wedding between Harry and Christine.

The series was for two Golden Globes ( both times John Larroquette ) and 31 Emmy Awards nominations, of which 7 were also obtained, four alone by John Larroquette.
