Niklas Moisander ( born September 29, 1985 in Turku ) is a Finnish footballer who plays for Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Playing career

In the club

Niklas Moisander began his career as a professional footballer at Turku PS from his hometown. From there he moved in 2003 along with his twin brother Henrik for Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam. In his three years at the Brussels residents, however, he could not sit down and was no league use, but only played for Jong Ajax, the second team of the club.

In summer 2006, Moisander decided to switch to a second division club FC Zwolle. He immediately became a regular player and a performer of the team. So he was in 2008 by the Dutch top club AZ Alkmaar obliged, where he was a regular player at first and in his first season won the Dutch championship with the. After four years in Alkmaar he was obliged mid- August 2012 for a transfer fee of three million euros from Ajax Amsterdam and signed a three-year contract by the end of June 2015. Too with Ajax was Moisander 2012/13 in his first year by Dutch masters.

National

On 29 May 2008 he was in a friendly match against Turkey in Duisburg his debut for the Finnish national team after he was previously employed in each junior national team of his native country.
