Nikon D5200

The Nikon D5200 is a digital SLR with a 24.2 megapixel DX format sensor and Full HD video function. It was presented on November 6, 2012, and is commercially available since the 17th of December. It has a vari-angle 3 -inch display with a resolution of 921,000 pixels. The Nikon D5200 is the successor to the D5100 and was recognized in the Nikon product list above the Nikon D3200 and below the D7000.

Wireless capability

The Nikon D5200 can be controlled remotely using the wireless adapter for Nikon WU -1a and a smartphone or tablet, and images can be transferred wirelessly. Be supported in the operating systems Android and iOS.

GPS capability

The Nikon D5200 can be expanded via the combined interface for cable release and a GPS receiver for geotagging of JPEG and NEF files. Nikon offers this to the GPS module GP-1.

Nikon D5300 - Nikon D5200 successor to the

In October 2013 Nikon introduced the new D5300, which goes on sale from mid- November 2013. The Wi -Fi and GPS features are in contrast to the D5200 built into the camera, ie external modules for wireless and GPS are no longer needed.
