Nikos Boudouris

Boudouris Nikolaos (Greek Nικόλαος Μπουντούρης, born September 25, 1971 in Volos, Greece ) is a retired Greek professional basketball player.

Nikolaos Boudouris, playing on the position of shooting guard, his professional career began in 1989 with PAOK Thessaloniki. In PAOK Boudouris belonged in the following years to the guide players to win next to a Greek Championship and Cup and the European Cup Winners' Cup and the Korac Cup. In 1999, after 274 first division matches, Boudouris moved to Panathinaikos, where he remained for two years and in addition to two championships even win the European Champion Clubs' Cup. Boudouris thus became the first Greek of all three European basketball competitions could win. In 2000 he moved to league rivals Olympiakos Piraeus where he once more won the Cup in 2002. After spending a year in Kozani at Makedonikos in 2004 he joined Marousi Athens where he remained until 2006 before he signed a contract with Olympiada patron. With 574 Erstligaeinsätzen Nikolaos Boudouris is record holder of the Greek A1 League.

For the Greek national team Boudouris graduated between 1991 and 2000 a total of 102 matches in which he was able to achieve 450 points.

In February 2009 Boudouris took over the role of team manager at Olympiakos.
