Nil Lushchak

Yuriy Lushchak Nile, OFM (Ukrainian Ніл Юрій Лущак; May 22nd, 1973 in Uzhhorod ) is appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Mukachevo.

Life

The Bishop of Mukachevo, Ivan Semedi, ordained him a priest on July 2, 1996. He joined the Congregation of the Franciscan ( OFM) in, took off the profession in 2010 and final vows laid off on December 4, 2012.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 19 November 2012 as Titular Bishop of Flenucleta and Auxiliary Bishop of Mukachevo. The Secretary of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches, Cyril Vasiľ SJ, gave him on 12 January of the next year the same year the episcopal ordination; Were co-consecrators Milan Sásik CM, Bishop of Mukachevo, and William Charles Skurla, Archbishop of Pittsburgh.
