Nils Gabriel Sefström

Nils Gabriel Sefström ( born June 2, 1787 ILSBO socks, † November 30, 1845 in Stockholm) was a Swedish chemist and mineralogist, 1831 at Taberg the element vanadium ( re-) discovered after it already by Andrés Manuel del Río a Mexican lead ore was found.

Sefström was a student of Jöns Jakob Berzelius. From 1820 to 1839 he taught at the Mountain School Falun. He then worked as a laboratory head of the Royal Mountain College in Stockholm.
