Nina Miranda

Nina Isabela Rocha Miranda (born 1969 or 1970) is the lead singer of the trip-hop group Smoke City.

She is the daughter of Brazilian artist Luiz Aquila da Rocha Miranda. At eight, she left Brazil with her British mother and moved to England; for a time she lived in France. She is romantically involved with her band mates Chris Franck and has with him a son.

She has a series of individual publications.

Miranda's musical role models are especially Brazilian artists such as Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso and Carmen Miranda.
