Nine Black Alps

Nine Black Alps is an alternative rock band that was founded in Manchester in 2003.

History

Nine Black Alps was founded by Sam Forrest, James Galley, Martin Cohen and David Jones. Their debut album was produced by the Elliott Smith producer Rob Schnapf, published in Iceland Records and reached number 51 on the British charts. The second was released in 2007 album was produced by Dave Sardy. In the period between 2003 and 2006 the band played several concerts in Europe, North America and Japan with renowned bands such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Weezer and Biffy Clyro. 2007 the band returned back to England. In February 2008, with the band recording their third album, Locked Out From The Inside hot and started to be published on 5 October 2009.

Singer Sam Forrest is a U.S. citizen who was born in New York, spent a year in Los Angeles and later attended a university in Cardiff.
