Nino Baragli

Giovanni Baragli ( born October 1, 1925 in Rome, † May 29, 2013 ) was an Italian editor.

Life

Since 1949 Baragli works as an editor and worked in that capacity for more than 200 films. As a rule, he is listed in his films with his diminutive Nino. He achieved fame in particular through cooperation with the Italian director Sergio Leone, for whose films Bad and the Ugly, play the song of death, death melody and Once Upon a Time in America he carried me the cut.

In addition Baragli worked for a long time together with the Italian director Federico Fellini and was editor for almost all movies, Pier Paolo Pasolini.

For his work was Nino Baragli David di Donatello for two with the best cut in Mediterraneo and turne and awarded a special prize at the award of the Nastro d' Argento of SNGCI for his oeuvre.
