No Sleep is the only album of the former German Casting tape LaVive, which had emerged in 2010 as the winner in Popstars band. It was released on December 17, 2010. The album's title refers to the debut single No Time for Sleeping.

Songs
There were two songs that are included on the album released. The song I Swear, a cover of John Michael Montgomery, was released by Gary Baker, one of the songwriters of the song, along with the 11 finalists of the ninth Popstars season in November 2010. The first official single was the band but No Time for Sleeping and was released on December 10, 2010.

The cover photo shows the four band members posing in front of a single consisting of black and white shapes background. Above them, the band logo is placed in a golden color, about it - much smaller - in white capital letters on a black background, the album title and a heart.
Criticism
The critics reviews of the album were mostly negative. In particular, the lack of profundity of the album was criticized:
"Horrible dull roars of these dance-pop Schmufu out of the speakers, only the meaningful liberated texts undercut even the complete lack of any musical substance. [ ... ] Droning sounds, flat production and getting the feeling that you have here in a few days hastily cobbled together demo right to provide eleven extremely boring, uninspired and hardly auseinanderzukennende tracks. The term " song" No Sleep deserves more than the Grammy -winning tearjerker I Swear, which rounds off the album as a big special. "
In addition, some experts expressed doubt that the album could be the basis for a long ribbon existence, since all songs were produced in a very short time:
"No Sleep moves retro perspective of the history of Chartpops with occasional excursions into the Euro Dance. Already the first single No Time For Sleeping is a foolish appearing dance hit, which quickly goes into the ear with its simple melody and the high- pitched synthesizers. Songs like Keep On, Hurtful or the Special Track I Swear to show conclusively that lavive can sing ballads. Most of the time it goes to No Sleep but with driving beats on the dance floor. Whether that is enough to be "Girls Forever" and to outlast the average half -life of a casting tape, we will see now. Anyway, as long as our attention is enough. "
"No Sleep, the debut of LaVive, is likely to be most likely also the last album by the four girls. Even LaVive must suffer the eternal Popstars Crux: As early as the week after winning the show, an album must be timely available in the shops. The fact that the songs that end up on the respective debut albums, well ausproduzierten, but provide as versatile and therefore somewhat faceless pop, so is the nature of the thing. The only single from the album was released ( No time to sleep ) on 10 December 2010 under the title No Time for Sleeping.
In Germany, the single reached number 13 in its first week on the charts, but fell a week later on 29th rank in the Austrian charts, the song debuted at number 12, in Switzerland, the single reached 28th place there was the song after a week no longer represented in the charts.
