Noah Emmerich
Noah Nicholas Emmerich ( born February 27, 1965 in New York City ) is an American film actor and film producer.
Life
Noah Emmerich has two brothers. The older brother Toby Emmerich is head of New Line Cinema. His father Andre Emmerich (1924-2007) was born in Frankfurt, his parents emigrated in 1931 or 1940. The family is not related to the German director Roland Emmerich.
Emmerich is a graduate of Yale University and NYU Film School. He is since 1993 in front of the camera. Already his second feature film, Last Action Hero, was a success. With prominent supporting roles in films such as The Truman Show or Windtalkers he became known to a wider audience.
Around the turn of the millennium founded Emmerich with a sandbox Pictures visual effects company, which among others, Night at the Museum or The Chronicles of Narnia: responsible for animation techniques drew the King of Narnia.
Noah Emmerich was married between 1998 and 2003 with actress Melissa Fitzgerald. They met on the set of The Truman Show know.
