Nobuyuki Tsujii

Nobuyuki Tsujii (Japanese辻 井 伸 行, Nobuyuki Tsujii, born 13 September 1988) is a classical pianist from Japan.

Tsujii was born blind as a result of microphthalmia and showed already in early childhood musical talent. He played two years with "Jingle Bells" on the piano children, after he had heard the tune as a vocal. At the age of four years, began his musical training at age ten he had already made ​​his stage debut with the Osaka Century Symphony Orchestra. At twelve, he played at the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, 2011 in Carnegie Hall. In April 2007 he began his studies at the Ueno Gakuen University in October of that year he released his first album " début ", which was until July 2009 sold over 190,000 times.

In 2009, he was together with Haochen Zhang, the first Asian winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, and also the first blind winner of this competition.
