Noel Grealish

Noel Grealish ( born December 16, 1965) is an Irish politician and since 2002 Teachta Dala in the lower house of the Irish Parliament.

Grealish was first elected in 2002 for the Progressive Democrats in the Dáil Éireann. He came here at the Galway West constituency and thus took the seat in a Dáil, the previously Bobby Molloy held for more than 30 years. Molloy retired from politics and did not occur at the election.

After the abolition of the dual mandates put Grealish 2003 resigned from the Galway County Council down. The 1999 election in the Galway County Council had been the beginning of his political career. Jim Cuddy now took a seat on the County Council Grealishs.

In May 2007, Grealish was re- elected to the Dáil Éireann. After Ciarán Cannon resigned from the post of party chairman on 24 March 2009, was Grealish Interimsvoritzender the Progressive Democrats. After the dissolution of the party later in the year he sits as an Independent in Dáil Éireann.
