Nokeng tsa Taemane Local Municipality

Nokeng tsa Taemane was a municipality in the former district Metsweding, Gauteng Province in South Africa. In 2001, there were 53,197 inhabitants in a total area of 1968 km ². The seat of the municipality was Rayton. Since 2011 Nokeng tsa Taemane part of the metropolitan municipality of Tshwane. Anna Digoro was the last mayor.

The community name is a Sepedi Sesotho - or term for rivers full of diamond and refers to the large number of rivers in the municipality and the diamond deposits at Caledon.
