Noriyasu Hirata

Noriyasu Hirata (Japanese平 田 典 靖, Hirata Noriyasu; born 17 November 1983 in Toyama Prefecture ) is a Japanese badminton player.

Career

Noriyasu Hirata visited the toga Middle School in Nanto, then the craft high school Takaoka and finally the Japanese sports high school. During his studies he played in the doubles with Hajime Komiyama. Both won bronze at the 2005 Japanese single Championships and at the World University Championships. In 2006 he stood for the works team since he plays in the transport company Tonami Un'yu.

Noriyasu Hirata in 2008 was second in the Mixed and third in the men's doubles at the Australia Open.

A year later, he won two titles at the Japanese single Championships in men's doubles with Hirokatsu Hashimoto Miyuki Maeda and mixed with, he could defend both 2010. In 2009 he won also bronze in the Mixed with Miyuki Maeda at the Asian Championships. In the New Zealand Open he won a silver medal in the men's doubles. In 2010 he won the Osaka International and Dutch Open in the men's doubles and he won third place at the Korea Open in mixed doubles and doubles at the Swiss Open.
