Norm Houser
Norman L. "Norm" Houser ( born December 18, 1915 in Russiaville, California, † December 3, 1996 in Volusia, Florida) was an American race car driver.
Houser was trying to qualify for the 500- mile race from Indianapolis 1947-1951. Only in 1949 he succeeded with a Langley - Offenhauser jump into the starting field. He finished the race in tenth with 19 laps behind the winner Bill Holland.
His career was overshadowed by numerous accidents.
