Norðskáli

Norðskáli [no ː ɹ ˌ skɔa lɪ ː ] or Norðskála (Danish: Nordskåle ) is a place of the Faroe Islands on the island of Eysturoy.

Norðskáli is how the south to Oyrarbakki, on the west coast Eysturoys just north of the bridge built in 1973 across the Sound Sundini after Streymoy. The village church dates from 1932, and the other houses are mostly recent. 10 The road that comes from Streymoy continues eastwards through the 1976 built Norðskálatunnilin.

Following the road past the bridge to the north, one passes through the places Svínáir and Ljósá from famous Eiði.
