North Queensferry

North Queensferry is a town in the Scottish unitary authority Fife on the north bank of the Firth of Forth. It is about six kilometers south-southeast of Dunfermline and 16 miles north- west of Edinburgh located. In 2001, North Queensferry recorded 1102 inhabitants. On the opposite bank of the Firth of Forth is South Queensferry, which is connected to the north bank of the Forth Road Bridge.

History

Similar to South Queensferry is the city's founding with Margaret of Scotland, the second wife of King Malcolm III. linked, often the Firth of Forth crossed at this point on the road to Dunfermline. Traffic
