Northern Ridge

The north ridge Russian (Russian Северные Увалы / Severnye Uwaly ) is a 294 m high ridge to the north of the European part of Russia.

The Russian north ridge, the west of the Middle Urals and south of the North Russian lowlands spreads, is part of the East European Plain. Located just south of the rivers Sukhona and Vychegda and north of the headwaters of Vyatka and Kama. To the southwest, the vast valley of the Upper Volga connects.

The medium mountain -like landscape of the sparsely populated northern Russian country back is characterized by hilly and mountainous areas that have been sanded wavy from the glaciers of the Ice Ages. In the range of hills, some rivers have dug, from which jug, Lusa, Moloma, Syssola and Unscha originate there.
