Nové Sady

Nové Sady ( until 1948 slovak " Ašakerť " until 1927 " Kert " / " Ašakert "; Hungarian Assakürt ) is a Slovak community near Nitra.

The village was mentioned for the first time in 1156 when Kurt and derives from the same gender, which has established the place at that time. In 1960, the same year formed from CAB and Sila community "Cab- Sila ', he was connected, since August 1, 1999 Cab is again an independent municipality.

The municipality had 2001 1320 Population (1910: 810, 1980: 2241 inhabitants). In the municipal coat of arms is depicted a pelican.
