Nowe Karwno

Nowe Karwno ( German New Karwendel ) is a very small village in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is part of the rural municipality Czarna Dąbrówka ( Black Damerkow ) in Bytowski powiat ( county Buetow ).

Transport links

After Nowe Karwno can be reached via two road connections leading from Wargowo ( Vargow ) ( on the road connecting Mikorowo ( Mickrow ) to Łupawa ( Lupow ) ) or Karwno ( Karwendel ) in the small village. A rail connection does not exist.

History

The former New Karwendel village was called after 1770 from the Royal Meliorationsgeldern. The colony belonged to the municipality of Karwendel (now Polish: Karwno ) and initially consisted of five farms that were on the old post from Berlin to Prussia. In his history of New Karwendel is associated with the mother church of the Karwendel. Until 1945 it belonged to the district of Stolp in Pomerania Region of the Prussian province of Pomerania. Since 1945, the place belonging using the new name Nowe Karwno to Poland, now a village in Gmina Czarna Dąbrówka and the county Stolp in the powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship is ( Słupski 1975-1998 Voivodeship ) " changed ".

Churches and denominations

Ecclesiastical New Karwendel was before 1945 in the Protestant parish Mickrow (now Polish: Mikorowo ) incorporated the Church of the Old Prussian Union Church Stolp -Altstadt Ostsprengel in the ecclesiastical province of Pomerania. After 1945 it came to the Catholic parish Czarna Dąbrówka ( Black Damerkow ) in the Office of the Dean Łupawa ( Lupow ) in the diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland. In Karwno a new (store ) church was built. The evangelical church members are now incorporated into the Cross parish in Slupsk ( Stolp ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
