Nuno Júdice

Nuno Júdice ( born April 29, 1949 in Mexilhoeira Grande, Portimão circuit, Algarve, Portugal) is a Portuguese writer. Júdice was also cultural functionary and is active as a poet, critic, writer, essayist, and novelist.

Life

Nuno Júdice comes from a small town in the Algarve, the southernmost province of Portugal. In Lisbon, he studied Romance languages ​​and has long been at the local Universidade Nova works of Medieval literature professor.

Even as a cultural functionary he worked. So he was cultural attaché of the Portuguese Embassy in Paris from 1997 to 2004 and during the same period also president of the Instituto Camões, also in Paris.
