Nuno Morais

Nuno Miguel Barbosa Morais ( born January 29, 1984 in Penafiel ) is a Portuguese footballer who currently plays for APOEL Nicosia.

Career

Morais started his career with his hometown club FC Penafiel, until it had a three-year contract with the English club Chelsea signed with an unknown transfer fee in 2004. His debut he graduated in January 2005 at the FA Cup tie against Scunthorpe United. He played through the whole game.

However, he hardly came afterwards to a professional use, and spent most of his time in the reserve, as his compatriot Filipe Oliveira. Both were awarded in the 2005/2006 season at Marítimo Funchal.
