The Nyköpingsån is a river in Sweden south of Stockholm.

It has its origin in the lake Tisaren in the historical province of Orebro. It flows in an easterly direction. Here it flows through the lakes Sottern, Kolsnaren, viruses, and Yngaren Långhalsen and flows Nyköping in the Baltic Sea. The cities Vingåker and Katrine Holm are due to its river.
