Nyongbyon County

The county Nyŏngbyŏn -gun ( South Korean spelling: Yongbyon 영변 ) located in the province P'yŏngan - pukto the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea).

Nature

Nyŏngbyŏn consists mainly of mountains. The highest elevation is the Hyangjŏk -san ( 향적산 香 积 山, 805 m ) in the north of the county. Forests - especially pine, oak and chestnut trees - cover 50.9 % of the area.

Climate

Attractions
