The Obere Argen in Eistobel

The Obere Argen is a river in south-western and south-eastern Bavaria Baden -Wuerttemberg.

Located northwest of Oberstaufen in Bavaria and Swabia Upper Allgäu district form the Seelesgraben, the moss Mühlbach and Schwarzenbach Obere Argen. From there it flows quickly through the so-called Eistobel, a walk- gorge within the same nature reserve and past Grünenbach towards Wangen im Allgäu. In Gestratz the Obere Argen takes on the coming of the left Röthenbach and forms to the cheeks Bavarian- Wuerttemberg state border.

North of Wangen district Neuravensburg the Obere Argen united with the Lower to Argen which flows into the lake about 15 kilometers between Kressbronn and Langenargen.

Argentina Tobel bridge

Arge Tobel bridge is a 230-meter long bridge of the Bavarian state road 1318 between the municipalities Grünenbach and Maier courts in the district of Lindau ( Bodensee). It spans twelve fields at a height of maximum 56 meters, the Obere Argen.

In Wangen district Neuravensburg leads above the road bridge (K 8002 ), built in 1790 by Abbot Beda Angehrn covered wooden bridge over the Obere Argen.
