Octavio Cisneros

Octavio Cisneros ( born July 19, 1945 in Havana ) is Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn.

Life

The Bishop of Brooklyn, John Francis Mugavero, ordained him a priest on 29 May 1971.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him auxiliary bishop on 6 June 2006 in Brooklyn and Titular Bishop of Eanach Dúin. The Bishop of Brooklyn, Nicholas DiMarzio Anthony, donated to him on 22 August of the same year along with Frank Joseph Caggiano episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Thomas Vose Daily, Bishop Emeritus of Brooklyn, and Ignatius Anthony Catanello, Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn.
