Odeceixe ( IPA: [ ɞdɘsɘiʃɘ ] ) is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the district of Aljezur (Portugal ), with an area of 41.9 km ² and 966 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011). She was raised on 12 July 2001 to the city.

The town lies on the river Ribeira de Seixe, the border Odemira and Alentejo. It is also the Parque Natural do Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina, a nature reserve which runs along the entire south-western coast of Portugal.

The 1880 parish church of Odeceixe acts outwardly unimpressive. Inside you will encounter a manuelinistischen Arc de Triomphe and a neo-classical choir. In the upper part of the town is still a fully functional windmill.

Odeceixe has two beaches:

  • Odeceixe
  • Adegas

Odeceixe part of the natural park Parque Natural do Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina.
