Oded Kattash

Oded Kattash (Hebrew עודד קטש; born October 10, 1974 in Ramat Gan, Israel ) is a retired Israeli basketball player and current coach.

Playing career

Club career

His professional career began Kattash, who played in the position of point guard, 1992 at Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan. After a season Hapoel Galil Elyon, he moved to the Galilee Kfar Blum. After two seasons, he moved to the dominant Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv, with which he was able to win three championships and a cup win. In 1998 Kattash the Greek top club Panathinaikos Athens. Coaching career

Kattashs first as a coach Hapoel Gilboa Galil Elyon was that he took over at the start of the 2004/2005 season and coached for three years. In 2007 he was taken from Maccabi Tel Aviv under contract and made ​​his debut with the multiple Europa League winner in the ULEB Euro League. After streaky performance in the National Championship and in the Euro League, he was released on 1 January 2008.
