Odense River

Odense River

The Odense River is a river in Denmark and has a length of about 60 kilometers. The river runs through the town of Odense on Funen and is the longest watercourse. He springs from the Arreskov Sø northeast of Faaborg and flows Seden beach, near the Odense Canal, in the Odense Fjord. Its catchment area covers about 550 km2, the water level is seasonally highly variable.

Odense River Regatta

Every year is carried out on the river called the Odense River Regatta. They embark on teams with home-built boats of all types of structures against each other.
