Ogg Writ is a computer - animated codec for text in conjunction with film and sound, which is used with the Ogg video Verkapselungformat.
He was initially designed to provide subtitles for Ogg Theora videos. Ogg Writ is but also for the display of song lyrics with Ogg Vorbis useful translations or instant messages with Ogg Speex, or any other application in which it is useful to combine text with audio or video.
