Ole-Jørgen Nilsen

Ole - Jørgen Nilsen ( born February 28, 1936 in Halden, † June 15, 2008 in Oslo) was a Norwegian actor and theater director.

Nilsen was trained at the Theatre Academy in Oslo and debuted in the year he graduated, 1959, right on the biggest stage in the country, the Nationaltheatret. He received a first firm commitment Trøndelag Teater in 1961 at Trondheim, where he briefly worked as a director. From 1968 to 1973 he belonged to the ensemble of Det Norske Teatret, the largest Nynorsk stage of the country to. During this time he won, among others, in some foreign contemporary plays, for example, in the role of van Gogh in Ernst Bruun Olsen's " The Postman of Arles ".
