Oleg Bolyakin

Oleg Vladimirovich Boljakin (Russian Олег Владимирович Болякин; born September 23, 1965 in Karaganda, Kazakh SSR ) is a retired Kazakh hockey player and current coach of the Kazakh team Kaszink - Torpedo Ust- Kamenogorsk.

Playing career

Oleg Boljakin began his career in the second Soviet league in Awtomobilist Karaganda. The 1998/99 season he spent at Amur Khabarovsk. In 1999, the defender in the second Russian league to Yuzhny Ural Orsk, where he ended his active career in 2003.

For Kazakhstan Boljakin played three games at the Asian Championships in 1995 and recorded this one Assist

Coaching career

In the 2007 /08 season Boljakin took over as coach at the Kazakh team Irtysh Pavlodar HK. In the season 2009/10 he was bound by the Sary- Arka Karaganda HK and led the team to win the championship of Kazakhstan. Since October 2010, he coached the Kazakh team Kaszink - Torpedo Ust- Kamenogorsk from the Wysschaja Hockey League.

His son Yevgeny Boljakin is also a hockey player.
