Olszanka, Opole Voivodeship
The Gmina Olszanka is a rural municipality in the powiat Brzeski in the Polish Opole Voivodeship. Seat of the municipality is the village Olszanka ( German: Alzenau ).
Geographical Location
The municipality extends south of the county town Brzeg ( Brieg ), to the east of the Opole Voivodeship, on the border of Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
Community
The rural community Olszanka covers an area of 92.61 km ² with a population of 4,987. The municipality consists of the following 10 districts ( German Namenbis 1945) with Soltysships:

Attractions
In the municipality there are some medieval village churches. The churches of Krzyżowice, Pogorzela and Przylesie are part of a regional to the city Brzeg around leading cultural path ( Szlak Polichromii Brzeskich ) of its frescoes.
