Omar Arellano

Omar Arellano Riverón ( born June 18, 1987 in Guadalajara, Jalisco ) is a Mexican football player at the position of the striker.

Career

His professional career began in the summer of 2004 when Arellano CF Pachuca, in whose ranks he made his debut in the Mexican Primera División celebrated in a match against Club América on 24 October 2004, with whom he was Mexican champion twice.

From 2007 to 2013 he was with his hometown club Chivas Guadalajara under contract and moved before the season 2013/14 to CF Monterrey.

Omar Arellano Riverón is the son of Omar Arellano Nuño who belonged to the champion team Chivas Guadalajara in the 1986/87 season. He is also the grandson of Raúl Arellano Vásquez, a regular player of the best Chivas team of all time, with the six times he came to champion honors 1957-1964.
