Omari Ishmael Grandberry ( born November 12, 1984 in Inglewood, California ), better known as Omarion, is an American R & B singer and actor. He gained as lead singer of the boy band B2K fame.

Career

Omari Ishmael Grandberry grew up as the son of Leslie and Trent Grandberry on in Inglewood. He is the oldest of seven siblings. His younger brother O'Ryan and his step-brother Marques Houston are also singers. At the age of five he began to sing and had later advertisements for Kellogg's and McDonald's.

His musical career began in 2001 when he founded the band B2K, along with Dreux "Lil ' Fizz " Frederic DeMario " Raz -B" Thornton and Jarell " J- Boog " Houston. After the dissolution in 2004, Omarion started his solo career. In addition, he starred in several films and television series with.
