One Day as a Lion
One Day as a Lion is a band from Los Angeles, California.
History
The band was founded by Zack de la Rocha, the lead singer of the crossover band Rage Against The Machine and the ex - drummer of The Mars Volta, Jon Theodore. The namesake for the band was a photo from 1970, showing a brick wall in Boyle Heights, a Latino neighborhood of Los Angeles, with the slogan "It's better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a lamb". An EP was released on 22 July 2008 at the independent label ANTI- Records. It consists of a total of five titles with the name: "Wild International ", " Ocean View ", " Last Letter ," "If You Fear Dying " and " One Day as a Lion ". An LP was announced, but no release date was announced.
