One Direction
One Direction is a British- Irish boy band, consisting of Niall Horan James, Zayn Malik Jawaad , Liam James Payne, Harry Edward Styles and Louis William Tomlinson. They were third in the seventh edition of the British talent show The X Factor and signed in hindsight a recording contract with Sony Music.
History
The five band members joined at the beginning of The X Factor at all as individual candidates, but were molded together in boot camp on the advice of Gastjurorin Nicole Scherzinger to a group and thus the group category. Although they were only third parties, signed the five band members a record deal over two million pounds with Sony Music. Simon Cowell announced that he would make the band to its global priority.
One Direction released their first single What Makes You Beautiful on September 11, 2011 in the UK and Ireland. With Live While We're Young, a new single was released on 28 September, 2012. She reached the charts good rankings and also came in Austria and Switzerland in the top 10 just before the release of their second album released worldwide on October 29, the song Little Things. On November 25, 2013, the third studio album Midnight Memories appeared. The first single Best Song Ever was released on July 22, 2013, the second single from the album Story of My Life was released on 28 October 2013.
