Onesimus

Onesimus (Greek and Latin. = " The Quick " ) ( † 68-95 ) was according to the New Testament tradition slave at a certain Philemon. He ran away from his master, and turned to the Apostle Paul, when he was in Ephesus in prison, there was a Christian and was baptized highly probable. Paul sent Onesimus back and wrote his master Philemon one handed in the New Testament letter asking for clemency. According to Colossians 4.9 EU Onesimus was later employee Paul's - an indication of the release may have been breached.
