Oneworld

The oneworld Alliance is a global airline alliance, which was established on 1 February 1999. The founding members were American Airlines, British Airways, Canadian Airlines International, Cathay Pacific and Qantas Airways.

With at March 31, 2014, the alliance of 13 airlines. The oneworld Alliance flying a total of 860 destinations in nearly 160 countries with more than 9,300 daily flights. The Alliance fleet is available as at February 2013, more than 2,500 aircraft. The parties jointly employ over 385,000 employees. Since 2003, oneworld Alliance was continuous and thus elected in 2012 for the tenth time in a row at the World Travel Awards for the world's leading airline alliance ( "World's Leading Airline Alliance ").
