Only Teardrops

Only Teardrops is an English song by the Danish singer Emmelie de Forest from the year 2013 and the first single from her eponymous studio album Only teardrops. It is the winning song of the Euro Vision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, marking the third victory of Denmark at Euro Vision Song Contest. Only Teardrops was written by Lise cabble, Julia Fabrin Jakobsen and Thomas Stengaard.

History

Only Teardrops was composed by Lise cabble, Julia Fabrin Jakobsen and Thomas Stengaard. Within the Danish Dansk Melodi Grand Prix Emmelie preliminary decision de Forest reached the final and sat down with 26 points in the Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning by. Following them came on 18 May 2013 at the finals of the Euro Vision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö after they won the first semi-final with 167 points for this. For the vote they received from all countries at least one point. An exception is San Marino. De Forest was awarded eight times the Punktebestmarke of 12 points and won the 58th Euro Vision Song Contest with 281 points.
