Orchestra rehearsal is a film by Italian director Federico Fellini 's 1979 and shows an allegory chaos of Italian society and the inability of their policy to generate positive results in this environment.

Action

The film is set in a rehearsal room for classical music. The conductor stands allegorically for the Italian governance and the orchestra for the people. While the conductor frantically trying to organize an orderly game, the individual players are busy with own things or interfere with discussions and abstruse claims. The bustle of the player always assumes anarchischere trains, until suddenly a huge wrecking ball in the capacity of "Deus ex Machina " strikes a wall of the room. In the resulting silence, the conductor begins to conduct again, and all players vote now ranked at the scheduled symphony.

Reviews

" The greatest value of the film is that he can a climate play a febrile illness without it - as many think want to have already undergone treatment, but as he considered them only with an X-ray machine, or rather with the eyes which soon microscopic soon see macroscopically, the eyes of the " déformation poetique ". " ( Avanti!, Milan)

" The metaphor of a world going under the chaos created in itself threatens. " (Neue Zürcher Zeitung )

" Startling and salutary. A spectacle of unusual richness. A dramatic appeal to the Fellini with his own colors painted pathetic, grotesque humanity, in the pitiless pre held mirror to finally recognize and to take action. A tremendously honest film of confusing, disturbing complexity. " ( l' Unita Milan )
