Orkidea
DJ Orkidea Orkidea or simply (actually Antti Tapio Hakanen ) is a Finnish trance DJ and producer.
Biography
Published in 1999 Orkidea his debut single "Unity", which appeared on the British label Steelfish. The track was very well received and Sasha and Paul Oakenfold opened their Essential Mixes with both him and Pete Tong played it on BBC Radio 1 Since then, he has released numerous singles that were also several times in the Finnish charts. The single " Beautiful" was a 2005 number -one hit.
With Taika and Music Speaks In Thousand Languages published in the years 2003 and 2005 two albums with the major label Universal Music. His last album was released on AVA Recordings Metaverse.
Orkidea also has a monthly radio program Radio Unity, which is broadcast from Web radio AH.FM and NRJ Finland and is also available as a podcast.
Besides his career as a trance artist, he works as a sound design manager at Nokia.
