Oscar Peer

Oscar peer ( born April 23, 1928 Lavin in the Lower Engadine, † 22 December 2013, Churchill ) was a writer and philologist Romansh. Life

Growing up in a farming family, he attended after canceling an apprenticeship as a machinist the Teacher Training College in Chur. After graduation he worked in Tschierv and Felsberg as a primary school teacher. His first published story, " A wedding in the winter " was published in 1972, next to Vallader 1978, the story " Accord ", which was filmed in 1985. Instead, both language versions contained its own nuances and there are significant deviations.

His brother Andri Peer was also a writer.
