Oskar Wahlström

Oskar Wahlström ( born August 16, 1976 in Bie, community Katrine Holm ) is a Swedish professional football player. The goalkeeper stood between 2004 and 2009 at Djurgårdens IF in the Allsvenskan under contract with the club and won the 2004 and 2005 Svenska Cupen the double of Bundesliga and the Swedish National Cup.

Career

Wahlström began playing football in his hometown at Bie GoIF. He then went to Katrineholms SK. From the fifth-tier he finally moved in 1998 to IFK Västerås, in which he completed 33 league games and in 2000 to Västerås SK in the Superettan. As a goalkeeper, he ran for the second division and was in the second division season 2003 with 28 stakes in the relegation of the club.

This Wahlström also convinced higher class and in 2004 was obliged Djurgårdens IF as a substitute goalkeeper Pa Dembo behind Tourray. Since then, he came in Allsvenskan irregularly used, but could - but without the use of time during the season - celebrate the Swedish league title with the club in 2005. But he stood in the same year in the Cup finals between the posts, thereby contributing to the achievement of the finale to the Svenska Cupen. After Wahlström could not enforce final at Djurgårdens IF, he returned to his contract expired in December 2008, first back to Västerås. Middle of the month, however, the Stockholm club and the player agreed to extend the contract for another season. Again he came only as Pa Dembo Touray substitute for, the injury turned out to six games of the season in the season 2009. Therefore he decided to again after the final whistle to leave the club.

Wahström then returned to his former station game Västerås SK, where he was hired as an assistant coach and sporadically also comes to his missions in the men's team.
